Bactine Max Pain Relieving Antiseptic Spray provides immediate pain and itch relief for minor cuts, scrapes, burns, and insect bites while helping protect against infection. Formulated with 4% lidocaine (the maximum OTC strength allowed by the FDA for topical anesthetics) to numb pain on contact. Contains benzalkonium chloride, an antiseptic that effectively kills 99% of germs associated with skin infections and helps stop bacterial growth. Unlike hydrogen peroxide or alcohol-based products, this no-sting spray cleanses and soothes without causing a painful burn and does not leave brown stains like iodine-based products. Safe for adults and children 2 years and older. Directions: clean the affected area; spray a small amount on the area 1–3 times daily; allow to dry before covering with a sterile bandage if desired.
